I thought I’d share some of my sketches, of which there are an abundance in my room, scattered in drawing pads that I frequently use. I look forward to sharing with fellow aesthetics around here a love of beauty in art, whether it be architecture, painting, or word-craft. There is a magic to it, truly, that we can give to the world, which thirsts for something surreal, outside the bounds of reality! The people in my drawings are all characters from my historical novels which I am endeavoring to write, alongside my schoolwork. When I was taking a semester at a private school in my town, I found it exceptionally fun to doodle on my notes. It is a very trying thing, to sit an entire hour or so with paper and pencil on hand, and not be able to draw a thing! So, one must utilize the resources. Ahem. Seriously, that’s what it is, right? One more thing, do any of my followers know of any illustration or artist blogs for me to follow? I love to meet other artists and gain inspiration from their creativity! I appreciate ya’ll for taking a moment to sit down at check out my blog here. So I say, nice to meet you, and I look forward to going into this New Year together!
Below, you see the summary of my 2013 art! I’m excited to see where I progress in 2014. I am intending to explore digital art further, and advance as far as anatomy and gesture-drawing goes.
